1. Introduction
At ShopAbout, we aim to provide quality products and excellent service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it under the conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
You may return a product within 7 days of receiving your order for an exchange, store credit, or refund, depending on the reason for the return.
Conditions for a Return:

The product must be in its original condition, including all packaging and accessories.

If the product has been opened or unsealed, a 15% handling fee may apply.

For hygiene reasons, toys, health, and personal care products must be unused and unopened.

Products that arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect may be returned at no cost to you.
3. How to Return an Item
1. Notify Us:

For damaged or incorrect items, email hello@shopabout.co.za within 24 hours of delivery.

For general returns, email us within 7 days of receiving your order.
2. Receive Return Authorization:

We will assess your request and provide return instructions.

Once we receive the item, we will inspect it and process your refund, exchange, or store credit within 7 business days.

Include your order number and contact details inside the returned parcel.
4. Faulty or Defective Products
A product is considered faulty if it has a manufacturing defect and not due to misuse.
The following do NOT qualify as defects:

Normal wear and tear.

Damage caused by negligence, abuse, or incorrect use.

Damage from electrical surges, water, or environmental conditions (e.g., sea air corrosion).

Failure to follow care or usage instructions.

Unauthorized repairs, tampering, or modifications.

The product matches the description on our website but does not meet personal preference.

If a faulty product is missing parts or accessories, we may reject the return or issue a partial refund.
5. Products Damaged on Delivery
If your item arrives damaged, please:
✔ Inspect the packaging before signing for delivery and note any visible damage.
✔ Report damages or missing parts within 24 hours by emailing hello@shopabout.co.za with photos if possible.
Tip: If you cannot inspect the package immediately, sign as "unchecked" next to your name.
6. Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds: Processed to the original payment method within 7 days (excluding shipping fees unless we are at fault).

Exchanges: Subject to product availability. If unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered.

Banking Fees: If you paid via credit card or Yoco, a 5% banking fee may be deducted from the refund.
7. Warranties on Electronic Goods

Tampered-with products or broken seals void all warranties.

Dead batteries are not covered, and it is the customer’s responsibility to replace them.
8. Business & Bulk Order Returns
